Chemex & Pour Over

What You'll Need: 22 grams of Medium Ground Coffee • 315 grams of filtered water (193º–198º)


1. Fold

Fold the filter with the triple-layered side facing the spout of the Chemex



2. Rinse

Rinse the filter to remove the filter’s paper taste as well as preheat the carafe or mug



3. Bloom

Pour 45g of water evenly onto the coffee grounds; allow it to bloom for 45 seconds (watch the bubbles!)



4. Brew

Pour the remainder of the water (270g) onto the grounds in a circular motion for 3 minutes



5. Enjoy

Pour the goodness into your favourite cup and enjoy the fruit of your labour
